Horses
We currently have two horses. We have Maggie a paint mare and Odin a Norwegian Fjord gelding. We are in the process of purchasing our first Filly, whose name is Quinby and she is also is a Norwegian Fjord. About the Norwegian Fjords: Norwegian Fjords were the war horses used by the Vikings and the breed goes back over 4,000 years. Fjords are light drafts and can be used for plowing, logging and pulling carts. In winter they grow a thick fur, that insulates them so well that snow won't melt on their back. Fjords usually have a big personality and love attention. They are often used for therapeutic riding for veterans and people who have disabilities.
